Concord250 Lantern Gets National Media Coverage

Art for All’s 250th Lantern Ceremony was a radiant success—uniting community, creativity, and history in a moment that captured hearts and headlines. With deep thanks to Richard Fahlander for his gracious and grounding emceeing, the event was featured by WBUR, WBZ-TV, NBC10, WCVB, The Boston Globe, and The Concord Bridge, reaching over 8 million people nationwide. The evening included stirring fife and drum performances, Minutemen in full regalia, community singing, and a powerful reading of Longfellow’s “Paul Revere’s Ride.” Ten bicyclists carried an LED torch from the Old North Church, culminating in the lantern’s ceremonial lighting as the National Anthem rang out. Everyone who attended felt the shared experience of a beautiful evening of a community coming together. The lantern has become a symbol of lighting the way forward, a symbol of hope for our nation. Thank you to all who worked on the lantern, contributed to its funding, and came out and celebrated with us!
