Art for All Abilities

A big part of our mission is ensuring everyone has access to art making and the joy of belonging.

Art for Abilities celebrates and empowers individuals with cognitive differences.

We understand that each person possesses a unique and beautiful perspective on the world. This is an inclusive and nurturing space where participants can explore a range of artistic mediums, encourage self-expression, and gain a sense of accomplishment.

Led by our dedicated Program Director, Laurie Engdahl and our lead teacher, Cathy Karp, our workshops are carefully crafted to cater to individual abilities, ensuring that every participant finds joy in their artistic journey.

We are committed to creating a space where individuals of all cognitive approaches to the world can thrive.

Tuesdays from 4:30 to 5:30 at Fowler Library

Many of our creations end up in public exhibits and displays, such as at the Concord Family Trees event. You can join us for one class or come every week.

Arts and Crafts Club is free thanks to Three Stones Gallery, Concord Public Library, the Concord Carlisle Community Chest and you! 50% of the expenses for Arts and Crafts Club comes from individual donations. Donate today!
