Join our Open Studio Sessions!
Every Thursday, 4 PM - 7 PM | July & August
Are you an art enthusiast seeking a space to unleash your creativity and connect with like-minded individuals? Look no further! Our Art Open Studio offers a space for all levels, aged 12 and up.
A Space for Everyone
Whether you're a seasoned artist or just beginning your creative journey, our Open Studio welcomes you with open arms. If you're under 18, please make sure to bring along an adult companion.
Explore and Create
In each session, you have the freedom to choose what you want to do. Bring your own supplies and a project you have been meaning to finish, or use some of the many supplies available for Open Studio Time. We hope these sessions will get your creative juices flowing and connect with the community!
Greetings for All Project
Feel like making a positive impact through art? Participate in our heartwarming "Greetings for All" project during the open studio sessions. Craft cards that will be sold at Joy St and earn Counterfish if they sell! (Click here to learn more about Counterfish).
Guidance and Parallel Play
Each Art Open Studio session is facilitated by an experienced art maker. While this is more parallel play than a workshop, we will orient you to the studio and available supplies and show you the suggested activity, usually greeting cards.
Pay as You Can
We believe that art should be accessible to all, regardless of financial limitations. Our Open Studio sessions operate on a "pay as you can" basis, with a suggested starting contribution of $10. We accept cash, check, and credit card payments for your convenience.
Art for All Abilities
Experience the joy of artistic expression with our inclusive program designed for individuals with cognitive differences. Join us in celebrating creativity, fostering connections, and making art accessible to all.
Community Murals
An essential part of our mission is to enliven the community through collaborative artworks made by hundreds of people of diverse ages, backgrounds, and abilities.
