Art for All is creating a 24-foot mural that maps the 12-mile-long Bruce Freeman Rail Trail (BFRT) from Framingham to Lowell. The completed mural will be attached to the back wall of 40 Beharrell Street which faces the trail near the bridge over Nashoba Brook.

The unveiling to the public will take place on May 20th as part of the “Spring into West Concord” celebration and coincides with the opening of our Fowler Library art exhibit: Paintings from the Trail.

The mural is funded by the West Concord Junction Cultural District Committee through the Mass Cultural Council, Friends of BFRT, and several local businesses. It is designed by Mike Sprague who, with other artists from Art for All, has worked on a series of collaborative public murals in West Concord. Click the images below to view our donors’ websites!
